Sigma MC-11 (Canon EF) – Which lens works and which doesn’t

Some days ago a new Sony A7 III was delivered to me.
I know that you could spend all your income in expensive Sony lenses – or you try to figure out what lens may be work with the great Sigma MC-11 adapter (Canon EF-E Mount).

All lens tests have been made with firmware as follows:

Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM 2.00 – 3.00 1.19 AF works very fast, with touch AF on frame borders sometimes focus pumping / problems at large focal length – good MF picture quality
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2,8L IS III USM 2.00 1.18 AF works fast even with touch focus on edge at 200mm – good MF picture quality
Canon EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 III 1.01 – 2.00 1.17 – 1.18 AF works fairly fast, tooks longer at larger focal length, with touch AF sometimes problems at large focal length – good MF picture quality
Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM 2.00 1.18 AF works slow, continuous pumping with touch focus on edge at 300-400mm, good MF picture quality
Sigma 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 DG Macro Aspherical 2.00 1.17 – 1.18 no AF at all, took very long to get steady – medium MF picture quality
Tamron 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di VC PZD (A010E) 2.00 – 3.01 1.19 – 1.26 AF works fast, with touch AF on frame borders sometimes focus pumping / problems at large focal length – good MF picture quality -> !!! no AF before MC-11 FW 1.19 !!!
Tamron AF 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di VC LD AD ASL IF Macro (A20E) 2.00 1.18 – 1.19 Lens readiness takes ages! (aprox 35 sec – in rare cases up to 90 sec!) then AF may work fairly fast, some produced lenses of that type do not provide AF at all (eg. SN 019083), at large focal length sometimes AF-pumping and problems with touch AF – good MF picture quality
Tamron AF 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di LD ASL IF Macro (A061) 2.00 1.19 AF works fast, with touch AF on frame borders sometimes focus pumping / problems at large focal length – good MF picture quality
Tamron AF SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD 1.01 1.17 no AF at all – good MF picture quality
Canon EF 20 mm f/2.8 USM 2.10 1.21 – 1.22 AF works fast with touch AF – good MF picture quality
Canon EF 16-35 mm f/2.8 L II USM 2.10 – 3.01 1.22 – 1.26 AF works fast with touch AF – great MF picture quality
Sigma AF 50-500mm 4.5-6.3 DG APO OS HSM 2.10 – 3.01 1.22 – 1.26 AF works fast with touch AF – great MF picture quality
Meike MK 85mm f1.8 3.01 1.26 does not work at all – AF turns to infinite automaticly. The aperture is not transmitted and cannot be selected.
