WOW nVIDIA made notebook users a Christmas present!

As for now on can grab official notebook drivers HERE.
The actual driver 179.28 suppots the 8/9 and corresponding NVS series of gpu's and is stated as an beta driver.
The range of supported gpu's should be extendet within the next releases of the driver (est. each 3 month).

Lets hope they continue that customer friendly behavior.
If yes my job in customizing standard gpu drivers will be obsolete - and you won't see any tear of me for that :-)
